Level of Difficulty Guide

To determine the degree of difficulty for each of our Native Eye designs we have considered the amount of detail and the approximate time it takes to complete.

If you don't mind having a work in progress we would encourage you not to be deterred by our advanced designs.  Take your time, enjoy the process, and don't be worried about finishing it quickly.

It's also worth noting that although our more advanced designs are more detailed and will take longer to complete, the end result will be more detailed and eye catching artwork.

Beginner

These designs have larger less intricate shapes, therefore the larger paintbrushes can be used with less time spent focusing on keeping within the lines. Time to complete - Approx. 4-5 hours.

Intermediate

These designs are more detailed than the beginner so you will be required to use the finer paintbrush for some areas. These designs however do not require the background painted so it will take less time to complete than some of our more advanced designs. Time to complete - Approx. 10-12 hours

Advanced

These designs have many more intricate shapes so you will be required to use the finer paintbrush for the most part. We also recommend, especially for the landscapes designs you try the art of blending. There are more details on how to blend on our 'getting started' page and a 'how to' video on our social media. Time to complete - Approx. 20+ hours
