Alissa May is a Wellington based freelance artist. She studied design and photography at Massey University, graduating in 2013.
Alissa is intrigued with anything and everything colour and design! She loves experimenting with different styles and mediums of art and exploring colour pallets, and believes that colour plays such an influential role in our lives, directly affecting our mood and interpretations of what we see.
Her project’s usually begin with a colour pallet in mind. They are hand drawn, often starting on paper before taking them on to her iPad and playing around until a final piece is produced.
Since graduating Alissa has travelled and lived overseas, worked in various areas of design and has sold her work online and at art markets.
Anna Mollekin is an Auckland-based digital artist celebrated for her captivating artwork that features bold lines, patterns, and shapes, creating a remarkable sense of dimension. Anna's passion for art is not only seen in her individual success but also in her ownership of Doodlewear, a platform that showcases New Zealand art by amazing New Zealand artists in a wearable form. Anna's love for New Zealand and its natural beauty is evident in her artwork as she explores themes of flora and fauna.
Anna's creative journey has been influenced by her trips to India and her sabbatical in China in 2015, which have inspired her bold use of bright colours and intricate patterns. Her instantly recognisable artwork is not only visually stunning but also relaxing and enjoyable to paint. Originally from Buenos Aries, Argentina, Laura is now a permanent, New Zealand resident after living here for 8 years.
She likes working and experimenting with all sorts of media and letting herself be surprised by all the different possibilities the creative process may bring.
Laura loves creating characters out of objects and animals, while adding a bit of humor and emotion to every piece.
Taranaki based artist and mother of two tamariki, Shay has recently pursued her love of illustrating full time. With a diverse family heritage Shay has a special connection with Pacifica culture and traditions, which strongly features throughout her art.
